‘Today in our cities,

most learning occurs outside the classroom.

The sheer quantity of information conveyed by

press-mags-film-TV-radio

far exceeds

the quantity of information conveyed by

school instruction & texts.

This challenge has destroyed

the monopoly of the book as a teaching aid

& cracked the very walls of the classroom,

so suddenly,

we’re confused, baffled.”

Nothing impressed me more than Usain Bolt. Joyful on the track & a joy to watch.

I’ve never written about sports inspite of being a fan. Something rings true, too true for me to write about.

Usain Bolt however was too memorable. Soccer‘s been depressing me, so much as to consider ’82 the end of it.

I miss radio. And radio culture.

Tune in at least once a day to your favorite station and forget about your own collection.

Deep in my dungeon

I welcome you here

Deep in my dungeon

I worship your fear

Deep in my dungeon

I dwell.

I do not know

if I wish you well.”

Nothing like a good restart for somethin’ I’ve left abandoned for oh so long.

I’ll try to write daily, once again, commentin’ here & there about whatever has recently broken the tedium.
